Storm Burst CwC Icestorm [Theorycraft] Help Needed

Hi everyone!

This build started out of curiosity and was based off the Scion so we can pick Elementalist and Inquisitor.
ES based so far, i know its shit in this league, but that means we can get some cheap equipment. Going CI was also on my mind, but i couldnt tell if i have enough ES for that in the trees.

The focus lies on CwC and the Whispering Ice unique. I'm shit at properly building for a lategame character so any help is appreciated.

I made a tree for Scion and Witch (Elementalist) to compare them.

Any help is useful as long as its constructive, i dont know every unique and any item recommendation for the build would be great

Your idea sounds interesting, but as I can't manage to make PoB display usefull damage numbers for icestorm and I haven't played it myself I can't help you much.

I will say that it seems strange to me that you want pieces of the inquisitor if you go for elemental overload. Going witch directly seems better then witch and inquisitor, but yu can get 60 int in the scion ascendancy I am not sure how if there maybe is another ascendancy that works.

Trying to make a build with the same idea - check out my char Otavato for current state. Having trouble with DPS for bosses :-/

Biggest question/problem for me is, which support gems to put into the staff: I'd like to think of gems supporting both Icestorm and Storm Burst in the best/optimal way possible ...
