[LF HELP] Life Blight CwC ED, SSFHC viable?

I'm still learning the game, and after ripped 5 lvl 50+ builds in SSFHC... I decided to make a new chaos spellcaster, any help or advice is appreciated :D

A lot of Blight/ED builds I saw are either ES or Low Life builds, and I assume they are neither cheap nor beginner friendly?
So I guess normal life builds must have some limitation in the endgame which makes it inferior to CI ES/Low life builds, anyone care to explain it to me? My guess is because of chaos res? |
