Little question about golem build

Anyone running Scion instead of Elem as "golemancer"? They both have +1 golem, but elementalist has ele dmg immunity for golems, while scion doesnt.
Instead You can pick stuff like share charges and add some block, mspd, cast speed, aspd from hierophant part or something.
It's probably viable for normal farming, but the question is if it will be enough to do end game bosses just as easy?
