THE BANDITS REWARD

So I went and talked to Oak [for the 1% life regen] he tells me to kill the other 2 bandits and bring him their Amulets. I killed both and neither of them drop THIS Amulet. Has this been declared a bugg? Anyone else having the same problem??

I did the bandits pre-3.0. So not sure what to do.

According to patch notes, default for existing characters is the Eramir reward (2 passive pts) and Eramir is supposed to have the books for re-spec'ing to an alternative reward as a one-time option. Didn't work that way for me: got the 2 pts from Eramir, an active quest for the Normal bandit I helped pre-3.0, but no option from Eramir to re-spec.

Had an active quest to help Oak as that was what I had done in Act 2 Normal.
I killed Oak instead and got an entry in my quest log of "Quest Abandoned" with no extra skill points.

Same bug or w/e this is.

exactly the same here . If i am not mistaken the quest was greyed out too as done. with 2 yellow markers at the fast travel map.

lol i just knew it , the bandit change was going to be problematic

Same problem here. I don't want to pay 40 regrets for resetting :d

Yesterday I started a new character. I killed all bandits and got the 1 point from Eramir, only reached act 4 normal, today he gives 2 points. Why don't I have 1 extra point to spend now when I logged in today?

Did the bandits prior to 3.0. Now I have an active quest to pick up Kraityn's and Alira's amulets for Oak, but when I kill them, they don't drop anything. Also no option to talk to them. Eramir doesn't change the quest or give me points.

Same for me, instead of Eramir offering books, There was an active quest that was bugged. Ended up making the book myself with 20 regrets..
