Immunity to freeze and chill flask broken...

If I have a flask with immunity to freeze and chill during flask effect + remove on use, why can I still be frozen? Every other flask with immunity works fine, just this one doesn't!

And it seems like it doesn't matter which flask I use. Life, mana, support (like quicksilver).

For example:
I get caught up in a fight with enemies that have a cold modifier like cold rain. I get frozen, use my anti-freeze-flask, but after one second after being unfrozen, I'm frozen AGAIN!!!! But it doesn't stop there! I can trigger that flask two, three, or four times out of desperation and still get instantly re-frozen after it's use. (Best part... happend during the 48h event today and a few times on my sc-character.)

What I can say is, both characters did use different flasks and resistances, capped or not, it doesn't change the outcome. The boss on wastepool map for example. Instantly re-frozen, immunity no-where to be found... but then there are situations where I get hit like mad with cold damage, get frozen and can escape like it's nothing. I don't get it....

That's cause your freeze duration is equal to the length it takes for you to hit max health, as it's currently on a life flask - once you hit max health, the freeze/chill immunity ends.

IF you're on full health - it's instantaneous (1 frame (1/60 second) duration.)

Not a bug.

Thanks for your reply.

Ok, I get what you mean and I thought it could be for that reason, too.

Like you said, it should only happen because I hit max health but flasks regenerate hp much slower (except it's an instant recovery one) than me taking damage from the attack (makes sense because if not, I wouldn't die from the attack at all!?).

So it'll never hit max life anyway and this freeze after freeze situation shouldn't be happening at all, or did I miss something else?

Immunity to Freeze will work while the flask is "working".

Working:
either
recovering HP,
or Mana,
or the whole flask duration (if you're never recovering to full hp or mana).

In a case of an "instant" flask you won't receive any immunity at all (well, aside from 0.001 msec while game enigine reacts to keypress), because the duration of the flask... well... INSTANT (ZERO seconds).

It is useful to roll immunities on utility flasks like quicksilver, granite, sapphire and such.
Because then the immunity would work for the whole duration of the flask.
Remember, suffering is convenient.
That is why many people prefer it.
Happiness requires effort.
