Question about Int Stack Kinetic Blast with Possible Bolt of Fragmentation

I am new to Int Stacking, but I enjoy how intuitive it is to progress. More Int = More damage. I am not fully geared, not by a long shot. Half winging it, half looking at inspiration.

I am noticing a lack of Boss killing potential right now. I am aware how the Merc with -Lightning resist and a Nimis should help alleviate that, I was curious on going a different path.

I saw someone make a pseudo 7/8 Link set of Gloves with Kinetic Bolt for boss killing, while having Blast on the 6 Link Chest for clear. I looked up how to make the gloves and I am confident in crafting a 7 link. 8 is far out of the question unless I make it big.

Will that work? Would Bolt with a 7 link on gloves scale with Int Stacking? Would it be a noticeable different in boss killing damage or would I be sacrificing too much for it?

I am very interested in try it, but I am not experienced enough to know if there is a flaw in it, or if Bolt and Blast scale differently as the player I am looking at isn't doing Int Stacking.

They used Fragmentation. Is that better than Baseline Bolt as well, or a different flavor with same kill potential?

i can't say how it play nowadays but during affliction league 3.23 where KBoF was good. it lasted one whole league before it was nerfed to the ground.

With that said, I opened my standard character and noticed the TOOLTIP on a 6link KBoF is about 70% the damage of KB (on thunderfist). However, its looks like the boss damage is still far superior to KB and that looks promising.

Can you link the video you saw? maybe that from when KBof was at its peak.
