movement doesn't feel smooth

so i loved this game when i played it then diablo 3 came out and now i've quit diablo 3 because i don't like it. but one thing that was good about diablo 3 was the movement was so free and smooth. i came back to check on PoE for a lil while today and noticed the movement is really chunky/rigid/not smooth.
