Minion skills affect totems?

Wiki "Totems allies are not considered to be minions, and are therefore not affected by minion-specific modifiers such as increased Minion Damage and Minion Instability."

Neither comment has told me anything. One says look at a node, i did ...nodes just "minion" all over it, nothing about totems.
Other comment just says "NO", no as in the skill tree nodes , including spiritual aid doesn't pertain to totems, or no it does, or no you don't want to see my thread? |

" Minions skill nodes in general don't affect neither you or your totems, but with the node "spiritual aid" nodes or gear (yeah, bone helmet too) affect your dps and by association your totems dps too. |
