Chromatic Calculator
I am trying to get 2 red and 2 blue on a Vertex Mask.
I do not care about using up Chromatic Orbs, but I do care about each Val orb I am going to need per Chromatic orb I use. Is the Vorici Chromatic Calculator accurate? I am looking for a good plan, to tackle this. How many Val orbs will I need to have on hand? Should I just do single chromatic ? Also not sure what this mean, Chromatic orbs cannot reroll the same color permutation twice. If I go through 1 orb at a time, the pattern will not repeat? When does the pattern reset, if it does? I plugged my numbers on the Vorici Chromatic Calculator. See below. I'm not seeing the same requirements you listed there. Isn't it 79 dex / 72 intelligence?
I think the best chance looks like doing Vorici 1 Red according to the calculator. Editado por útlima vez por VixTrader#2228 en 19 ene. 2016 15:46:30

Yes, the requirements the OP gave are due to the gems socketed into the helmet and not due to the item itself.
What specific corruption do you have on your Vertex that it's worth spending Vaals for Vorici on? scroogetemplar / scroogewitch / scroogemarauder

" There is no "pattern" that it follows, it merely means that if you use a single chromatic orb on your item, it WILL change the colors. Simply put, this just means that say if you have a G-G-G-G item, it CANNOT end up as G-G-G-G on the next roll. That being said...If you have say G-G-B-G, it can still turn into G-B-G-G. Thus, this statement just means that you cannot use a chromatic orb on your item and have it remain completely unchanged. Legacy SC IGN: Octora

" As scrooge999 pointed out, don't use the attribute requirements of the gems in your helm. Use the numbers that show up when all gems are removed, as it will not let you recolor the item while there are gems in it. " Well....yes, the calculator is more or less accurate, but you need to input the correct requirements to get meaningful outputs. Legacy SC IGN: Octora

You guys are correct, I did it at lunch time from the website with gems on them.
I will redo it with the correct numbers. This my goal with the mask above with the gems below. VAL Disciple Level 27 With 5.5 second buff with omg regen. Editado por útlima vez por luisagos#7054 en 19 ene. 2016 19:21:55

After I entered the correct values in the calculator.
I tested on my second mask I have, like I said before i have more than 2 tabs full of Chromatic. Do not care too much about them. I did 1R, it took almost about 200 Chromatic each time, I did this twice. The Vorici Chromatic Calculator shows it should of cost around 70 Chromatic, but it was really at 200 Chromatic. I did 1R/1B it took between 15 and 45 Chromatic each time, I did this twice. The Vorici Chromatic Calculator shows it should of cost around 170 Chromatic, but it was really at 45 Chromatic. For some reason, my results was backward from what Vorici Chromatic Calculator shows it should of been. I do not trust that Calculator at all. Now the time to do this with Vals. Cost me 45 vals ! Would like to give thanks to all that help me, and I hope this helps anyone out there. Be safe and Good Hunting ! ! ! |
